1. Prepare
Install the latest Uber or Uber Eats app
Log in to your Uber account
Make sure you have your gift card code (redeem code / PIN)
2. Redeem the Gift Card
Option A: Uber App
Open the Uber app
Tap Account (bottom right)
Go to Wallet
Find Uber Cash
Tap Add Funds
Select Gift Card
Enter your gift card code
Confirm to add the balance
Option B: Uber Eats App
Open Uber Eats
Tap Account
Go to Wallet
Tap Add Payment Method
Select Gift Card
Enter the code and /confirm/i
3. After Redemption
The gift card value is converted into Uber Cash
It can be used for:
Uber rides
Uber Eats orders
4. How to Use Uber Cash
During checkout or ride booking, select Uber Cash as the payment method
If the balance is insufficient, the remaining amount can be paid with another payment method
5. important Notes
Gift cards cannot be transferred to another account
They cannot be exchanged for cash
They are usually region-locked (must match the country of the account)
Some services or order types may not support Uber Cash
6. Common Issues
Code not working: check for typos or extra spaces
Already redeemed: the code has been used before
Region mismatch: card country must match your Uber account region
Balance not showing: log out and log back in or wait a few minutes
